News Feed Hello - New Timetable Nuffield Adults Timetable.jpg Hello Everyone For those who are on TENCAP I would like to introduce myself, my name is Shaun McDonald and I am the new Racquets Manager here at Nuffield Milngavie Fitness & Wellbeing Gym. I am delighted to be here and excited about delivering a fantastic tennis programme for all our adult members. I would like you to share all your ideas with me about all things tennis at the club so please get in touch with me if you would like to discuss anything. The TENCAP system is still up and running and all emails will be sent out using this system. I have attached the Adults Timetable which is currently running unchanged from previous months. I will look to make some changes and improvements to the timetable in the near future based on your feedback and once more coaches have been recruited. Once again I would like to reiterate that I am delighted to be back at the club and I look forward to getting the tennis section back on track once again. See the newsfeed (on ‘my dashboard') and your ‘my activities' tab for the draws in all events you have entered. Club Championships Finals Day : Saturday 28th November from 10.00am (all events). Gala evening and presentation : Saturday 28th November from 7.00pm. Gala Evening Ticket Price: £25.00 per head. The league features both singles and doubles and is predominantly a 6 person team per fixture. We’re keen to help find the talent of the future so we’ve opened the competition to both members and non-members, so if you know a tennis superstar in the making, sign them up now! Entrants need to be 5-8 year-olds and they will be put forwards in a program of talent spotting involving regional events followed by a national final. A big shout out to all who entered our Aussie Open Mixed Doubles on Sunday 25th January! With an entry of 8 males and 8 females the winning pair in the end was Narelle Mais and David Fulton who finished as top female and top male respectively! Thanks to Douglas Mackechnie for running the event! 5 years ago by Daniel Curtis Wimbledon ‘Opt In' Ballot Notice To be eligible for the 2015 Club BTM Wimbledon Ballot at you will need to OPT IN. All other eligibility rules apply as they have done previously. OPTING IN TO THE BTM WIMBLEDON BALLOT IS EASY: 1. Log-in to your LTA members area, using your user name and password 2. You will see a picture of centre court with the words ‘Opt in or out of the Wimbledon ballot'. Keep your personal information up to date and make sure you opt in or out for the 2015 British Tennis Member Wimbledon ballot. 3. While you're there please do not forget to check your BTM status and make sure your contact details are up to date and linked to Virgin Active Milngavie Health & Racquets Club. What does this mean for VA Milngavie? In 2015, our allocation of Wimbledon tickets will be calculated based on the NUMBER OF ELIGIBLE BTMS THAT HAVE OPTED-IN BY 31st JANUARY 2015. THE MORE MEMBERS THAT ‘OPT-IN' THE BIGGER THE ALLOCATION. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE CLUB IS UNABLE TO OPT YOU IN. THIS IS SOMETHING YOU CAN ONLY DO FOR YOURSELF. You will not be eligible for the club ballot if you have not opted in by 31 st January.
